Stoneware Café & Bordertown Made

Starting Pay: $11.33 per hour
Hours: 10–20 hours per week | Part-time

As a Kitchen and Retail Staff Member, you’ll be part of both of our unique spaces inside Red Wing’s Pottery Place. Stoneware Café is on the second floor and Bordertown Made is on the first floor. This is a hands-on, customer service driven role that combines food service, retail, and customer connection.

(Stoneware Café – 2nd Floor)
• Prep and plate our homemade food recipes while ensuring freshness and quality
• Brew coffee, serve Stockholm Pie, and provide warm, attentive service
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards (ServSafe certification preferred, or willing to obtain)
• Help create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for all guests

(Bordertown Made – 1st Floor)
• Greet and assist customers with knowledge about our locally made goods from Minnesota and Wisconsin
• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization while at work
• Restock shelves and maintain inviting, well-organized product displays
• Support the merchandising and visual presentation of the store

• Move between floors during shifts as needed, there will usually be two people floating up and downstairs.

Open hours are generally 10 AM – 5 PM, with shift times varying by season and business needs.
